Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Srinagar Garhwal, Uttarakhand, A Central University accredited by UGC, invites applications for admission to various Postgraduate (PG) and PG Diploma programmes including B.Ed., B.P.Ed., LLB, B.Lib. for the academic session 2026–27 through the University Entrance Test (UET)- 2026 process.

The University offers a wide range of academic programmes across disciplines including Science, Arts, Commerce, Agriculture, Education, Management, Computer Science, Pharmacy, Law, and allied fields. Candidates seeking admission must ensure that they fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria for the respective programme.

As per the admission guidelines, applicants must possess the required qualifying degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university. Certain professional and specialized programmes such as M.Tech., MBA, MCA, Pharmacy, and Education courses have specific eligibility requirements as per regulatory bodies.

Admission to these programmes will be strictly based on performance in the University Entrance Test (UET)- 2026, followed by further processes such as counselling.

After the successful conduct of the University Entrance Test (UET)-2026, Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University opened the admission registration portal for eligible candidates to select their preferred University Campus or Affiliated College for admission to the respective programme for which they have qualified in the entrance examination.

Candidates are advised to log in to the University Admission Portal and carefully fill in their campus/college preferences within the stipulated time period. The allotment of seats will be made on the basis of merit, eligibility, reservation policy, availability of seats, and the preferences submitted by the candidates. The University’s admission registration portal for the academic session 2026–27 is currently active for eligible applicants.
